We spent years becoming doctors. Years of all-nighters, impossible exams, first codes, difficult diagnoses, and quiet moments in corridors where we asked ourselves if we were cut out for this. We came from different departments — surgery, medicine, radiology, anaesthesia — but we had one thing in common: the moment we took off the apron, no one could tell we were doctors. And somehow, that felt like losing a part of ourselves.

We are a group of medicos currently doing our super-specialization. Between long shifts and study sessions, we started talking about something we'd all felt but never really said out loud — that being a doctor isn't just a job. It's an identity. One that carries weight, history, struggle, pride, dark humour, and a particular kind of exhaustion that only people inside this world truly understand.

And yet, outside the hospital, that identity was invisible.

So we built SCIK — not as a side hustle, but as a statement. A brand for every healthcare professional who's ever wanted their clothes to say what their position badge can't. For the intern running on three hours of sleep who still shows up. For the resident who knows the Latin name for every bone but hasn't had a weekend off in months. For the super-specialist who has dedicated their entire twenties to one small, extraordinary thing.

SCIK is built on the full truth of this life — the fears, the fantasies, the burnout, the breakthroughs, the in-jokes, the identity. Every design comes from inside this world, because that's where we live. We're not branding doctors from the outside. We are doctors, expressing ourselves from within.
